How do I count the ways?

Here are ten principles for good design as seen by Dieter Rams, innovative designer of electronic items.

Since the headings take a while to load, I will list them:
Good design…

• is innovative
• makes a product useful
• is aesthetic
• makes a product understandable
• is unobtrusive
• is honest
• is long-lasting
• is thorough, down to the last detail
• is environmentally friendly
• and … is as little design as possible.
